Recently read this brilliant book by Ranjit Lal.
book from the first page, the pace of the story never falters as the writer
weaves an intricate tale of intrigue and adventure.
The story of Kala Kaloota Kawa Kaw, the sleek and deadly crow-don of the
city of Mumbai who plots to take over a bird sanctuary
with the hope of making the crow a revered species among bird and man alike. The tale has beautifully etched characters who just take shape in your mind as you read each page. Only a truly gifted writer can achieve this. A story with something for everyone, this book is indeed a must read for people of all ages.
A truly fun-filled tale. :)

ReplyDeleteBy the way, you should take a look at the ever-awesome "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach. It is 90 page short-sweet book.
Hi bhai, yep "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" and "Illusions" remain two of my favorite books by Bach. :) its amazing how wisdom can be expressed in such short yet profound ways..:)
