A creature of comfort of familiarity I am
I find myself at peace here most of all.
That's risky because this is not where I live. I need to find peace inside not outside.
Books with big ideas
They perhaps shaped his career, his practice, his evolution as a mental health professional.
At the same time there's compassion. No textbook can teach that. We either have it or we don't.
There are days when the sadness lifts.
Days that it returns.
Much like the rotation of the Earth
Or the usual cycle that turns us into werewolves?
It's all a mystery.
