Catching up..

Been a long time since I've blogged..for reasons that are at once important and not, I've not found the mindspace to get on and say something..Today I noticed that a friend had stopped by on the blog to say hi and it felt good that someone was atleast checking in to see what I had to say. If even one person reads what we write, I guess it makes it all worth it. So a quick round up of what's been happening in my world these past few weeks..

• India's political world is debating the 123 agreement..with differing views surfacing daily..shows how important decisions have political equations backing them..
• Sanjay Dutt gets interim bail..will justice be really delivered?
• Indian independence turned 60..we have much to celebrate and reflect about at the same time..

On the personal/professional front..

• Term has started..I am doing what I enjoy doing, in a place and time in life that I am at peace with..
• Worked on a ppt for a big firm..the talk was good..
• Forging new work connections with interesting people..the promise of opportunity..
• Been meeting friends over the weekend, its been fun catching up..
• A close friend got her black belt in Karate today..WAY TO GO, N.. u rock! :)
• Developing an interest in watching biographical programs on the History channel and NatGeo..I somehow find history fascinating, when told in a manner that I can relate with..replete with individuals, events, emotions, behavior, motives and such..(the brilliant Discovery Channel special on Julius Caesar is a case in point)
• Learning to accommodate, and trying to balance time demands in a way that I can attend to all errands, personal and professional..

That's about it for now..this is turning out to be more autobiographical than I expected!
